As I long time fan of “R&B” breezy I found it hard to enjoy his dance/club records, however they were still hits. “Don’t Think They Know” shows Chris Brown certainly has not forgotten the R&B sound that made us all instant fans. After hearing word artists were planning on remaking Aaliyah songs or collaborating with her using sample from her hits, many were skeptical. Mr CBE let the work speak for itself, firmly putting any doubts or non-believers to rest.
This track speaks on the connection between an artist and his/her supporters and family, it is truly a great vibe. Undoubtedly many people would rather more music such as this make it to radio stations worldwide. It is not enough for music to make you dance, rather music that teaches you something and gives you an appreciation for it. Aaliyah’s musical influence is timeless, Chris Brown did an excellent job to pay homage to the sensational musician.

A young lady who is no stranger to the performing arts and a familar face to television screen, Keke Palmer. Multi-talented people are becoming increasing abundant in any industry, however the uniqueness of certain talent makes people stand out amongst the rest. Keke Palmer is a lady of many talents but holds music closest to her heart. This acoustic performance of Alicia Key’s classic hit shows passion with each lyric she sings and a deep love for the craft resting with in each note.
The voice is now merely described as a gift, the vocal delivery is what shows real skill, these two musician’s have impeccable delivery. A combination of Tori Kelly’s voice and talented songwriting has sealed her as one to watch in 2013 and the years to come. Her vibrant riffs and runs during her acoustics performances rest comfortably in their own league highlighting her own unique style.
There are many artists who are able sing but lack an understanding of how to actually “sing”. A good song comes from someone who can sing, however “music” comes from a musician with passion and soul laying at the core of his/her music. Travis Garland is a musician who knows how to make real music, using his strong range and subtly smooth tones to serenade his growing fan base. A musician who we at One Love CMzTV describe as a soulful delight for listeners with a sweet tooth for talent.
A collaboration between these two would not only be a musical exhibition of talent, rather an example of the difference between a vocalist and a stylist. Vocalists sing using whatever they hear on the radio or television as a blueprint to become a musician. A stylist in musical terms would be a musician with their own unique style distinguishing them from the masses, a musician such as Tori Kelly or Travis Garland.
